I agree TKO Gary Rosato was favoring Stevens. He gave Stevens time to recover from a low blow that did not happen. The Masour Cunnigham was a lot closer than the scorecards read . You are very knowledgeable about Boxing.
Tusquigge fought a hell of a fight and should have been given the benefit of the doubt. However shame on Mr Johnson for not boxing defensively when he had the fight in the bag. But then again, the way they scored the Cunningham fight, judges may have had Curtis winning anyway. However, the referee, Mr. Rosato, looked very favorable for the house fighter.
You do not know Boxing. If Curtis Stevens was hurt like that , they would let the fight go on The referee knows which fighter belongs to the promoter and which fighter is the opponent . Most people that know boxing feel it was a premature stoppage
The fact that Stevens was losing on points doesn't make it a bad stoppage. Johnson's face was punched all over the place and he was pretty much defenseless and in very bad shape when the fight was stopped.
