Shaolin, I noticed you are VIP over on Livefight but don't post there anymore?
Any reason mate?
The place could do with some of your wisdom. |

dont think so tel, from gomez, i heard it will be a different game plan, as in moving in angles, tieing up alot, sort of a sergio martinez /ward syle.
The plan is to emulate their two styles, and not let abraham unleash any hard rights or hooks.
abraham has two ways of attacking, rushing in to throw combos, or, by countering.
the trick is to make abraham fight going back/being tied up:o)
Rewatch pascal/froch, and that is sort of a style you will see.
I am rooting for frochy by a win.
This fight will test abraham's chin, big time!!!Froch hits very hard!!! |

I see Carl going in all guns blazing & if that doesn't work as before he has no plan B to fall back on, my money will be on Abraham UD |

Tim,
I know you've never offered excuses mate. As you say you never needed to add any.
I only added that because I think this time an excuse will be a valid point.
This will be the first Hopkins PPV I'll be paying for in a long time. The last one was against Oscar.
I fucked up by the way with this quote: "Ain't no blown up Middleweight here"
What I meant was: Ain't no blown up Welterweight here.
That was just a little dig with regards to Oscar, Tito and Winky who I believe were all a little to far out of their comfort zone against Bernard.
Pascal though has only had to step up one weight division and is more suited at 175 IMO.
Bernard's win over Pavlik was SUPER impressive but to be fair, I was never big on him to begin with.
I have a pretty huge rap on Pascal so if Hopkins get's up, full credit and never again will I doubt him, although he'd have to be very close to hanging up the gloves. Still though, it would take an almighty effort for a man at his age to stop a young bull in his tracks and pull it off.
All my jibberish is only working in your favour if Hopkins wins, Tim. I'm glad you can see that mate.
Just out of interest fella's, how do you see the Abraham-Froch fight panning out??
Personally, I think if Froch keeps the fight at range he take's a clear and decisive win.
I know you Mark will have Froch down for the win, and for memory Tim you had a pretty big rap on Arthur???
Any early thoughts fella's?? |

only thing both suffer from is stamina in the later rounds.Pascal canot fight "philly style" but bhop can!
Could be pascal's weak point.
Pascal likes to counter, and loves to throw combos while moving in.
That fight would definently test bhop's defense. |

No excuses ha Tim?
I've never taken you on with Hopkins until now and don't want to hear about the age factor (Even though it's warranted).........
I'm looking forward to this fight and am confident I'm on a winner.
Ain't no blown up Middleweight here.
Pascal and convincely. |

My apologies to Tim aswell. That quote he made mention of was actually a quote from Hopkins.
I was just being my idiot self and playing around. |

Mal,
Heed these words. I'm sure you can guess who said them.
"I need those belts around my waist. This fight will prove to the world that I am not done. I hold no malice or bad feelings to those who are concerned about me, but I've always been a son of a bitch when it comes to rising up to the occasion. This for me is the type of fight where I have to top what I've done before. I want to keep giving them something where they can't understand how I'm doing it."
